Course Description
This course provides an in-depth exploration of non-diabetic peripheral neuropathy, focusing on the diverse etiologies beyond diabetes that contribute to nerve damage and sensory dysfunction. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the underlying mechanisms, risk factors, and clinical presentations associated with these conditions. Through case-based discussions and evidence-based insights, the course emphasizes the importance of recognizing non-diabetic causes to improve diagnostic precision and patient outcomes.
Building on foundational knowledge, the course highlights practical clinical examination pearls that enhance diagnostic accuracy and reduce misclassification. Learners will also examine current and emerging treatment strategies, including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic approaches, as well as cutting-edge research on pain pathway modulation. By the end of the program, participants will be equipped with actionable skills and knowledge to optimize care for patients with non-diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
